Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Litomysl

Fundraising (for St. Isidore School)

St. Isidore School is a big part of Holy Trinity Church, and sits very close to the heart for many members of the church.  And so, as members of the parish, we are all asked to help out with fundraising as listed below.

-Scrip (Scrip order forms)

Scrip is a substitue for money in the form of gift cards that are used like cash for products and services from places like HyVee, Cash Wise, Walmart, Fleet Farm, and Kwik Trip.  Scrip will be available at the school on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Friday.  You may also purchase them after mass each weekend.  You can decide where the proceeds go: to St. Isidore School, Holy Trinity REP, or Holy Trinity Church.

-Magazine Drive

Now sold year-round, this fundraiser is a great way to subscribe/renew to magazines and to buy books, CD’s, and more, with 40% of sales going directly to St. Isidore School.  Go to the following link to take part in this great fundraising opportunity; http://store.gafundraising.com/landing.aspx?SID=434548

-Used Ink cartridges & phones

St. Isidore School earns money for every cell phone, inkjet cartridge, and laser toner we turn in for recycling.  This is a great way to do something “green” for the earth and our school.  You may turn them in to school or put them in the collection box at the back of the church.

-Search & Give

This fun and easy way to earn our school money just started in Nov. of 2007.  When you search and play games, using the Search and Give web site, St. Isidore School earns tickets/money at the same time.  You earn 1¢ for every search, and multiple pennies while playing games.  Instead of using MSN, Google, or Yahoo, simply use www.searchandgive.com as your basic search engine and choose ST ISIDORE SCHOOL as your charity.  As of October 19, 2008, only 11 months into the program, St. Isidore School had earned over $1,135 from the site.

-Aluminum Cans

Drop your aluminum cans off at any time in the trailer parked between the two garages near the Holy Trinity Church Rectory.  Please only aluminum cans – no tin cans, glass, plastic or other materials.  We earn approximately $350 a year from aluminum cans.

-Target VISA/Target Guest Card

Do you have a Target VISA or Target Guest Card?  If so, you can designate St. Isidore to receive 1% of your purchases at Target and .5% of all your purchases elsewhere.  Simply call 1-800-316-6142 or visit www.target.com & click on “redcards”.  If you don’t already have a Target credit card, consider signing up for one today.  We receive approximately $700 from Target each year!  Wow!  That’s easy money!!!

-Campbell’s Labels for Education

The Labels for Education program no longer accepts the entire Campbell’s label.  Please clip JUST THE UPC codes and turn them in to school or put them in the collection box at the back of the church.  We earn 1 – 5 points for each UPC code.  The points are used to purchase school items from the Campbell’s catalogue.

-Tending Parking Lot

2008 was the third year that St. Isidore School parked cars at the Brick/Meger Funeral Home parking lot during the Steele County Fair.  You can help out by parking cars, or by parking your own car in the parking lot during the fair.  Brick/Meger donates all money collected to the school.

-Earl H. McNearney Scholarship Fund
Earl McNearney was a lifelong member of Holy Trinity Church, and when he died, Earl desired to give a gift to benefit St. Isidore School. This gift was set up as a perpetual fund, meaning that tuition assistance is given only from the interest earned. We want children for generations to come to be able to attend St. Isidore School, regardless of tuition cost. Monetary gifts/donations will help grow this fund so we can provide scholarships to more families.
